It is with great pride that we share with you that our very own Cass Milosh has been selected to participate in the 2016 Unites States Figure Skating’s W.I.N. Project. Cass is one of only three coaches in the country who have been selected for this prestigious honor. She will travel with USFS officials to attend the 2016 Senior World Figure Skating Championships in Budapest, Hungary in April.

"W.I.N." stands for World, International, and National synchronized skating coaches. Candidates must formally apply and winners are selected based on the merit of their application and what they hope to gain from the experience. Those fortunate enough to be selected receive an all-expense paid trip to the Synchronized Skating World Championships where they receive elite training in order to prepare themselves and their organization to compete on the international stage in the future. Cass’s selection marks the second consecutive season that a Team Ashburn coach has been chosen as a W.I.N. recipient; the recognition was previously awarded to Director Jenny Cherry in 2015 where she attended the 2015 Junior World Synchronized Skating Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.

When asked about her selection, Cass stated, “I am honored to have been chosen for the USFS WIN Project and to be able to participate in such an incredible development program. After being with Team Ashburn for less than a year, I view my selection to this program as a testament to how much Team Ashburn has grown in recent seasons and the potential that lies before us. I am definitely looking forward to all that I will learn and bringing it back to Team Ashburn to continue our success as we head into a new season and beyond”!

Please join us in congratulating Cass on this well-earned and truly deserved recognition!
