Team Ashburn Synchronized Skating Team is thrilled to announce that Cass (Cassandra) Milosh has joined their staff. She will be head coach for their Beginner, Pre-Juvenile and Open Juvenile teams and on staff with the Intermediate and Novice lines as 2015-16 season practices begin this week.

Milosh joins Team Ashburn with two decades of experience in the discipline of synchronized skating. Prior to joining Team Ashburn, Cass was the Assistant Coach of the Adrian College Varsity Synchronized Skating and Figure Skating teams. There she worked with the Senior, Collegiate, and Open Collegiate Synchronized Skating teams as well as with the freestyle and solo dance skaters. During the 2015 season, the Senior team captured a first place finish at the Midwestern Synchro Championships and sixth place finish at the US Synchro Championships, while the Collegiate team finished an impressive fourth at the Midwestern Synchro Championships and 7th at the US Synchro Championships. She helped the Adrian College Figure Skating team win two out of three consecutive Midwestern Conference Championships and a fourth and fifth place finish at the US Intercollegiate Team Championships in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

A seven year member of The Colonials Synchronized Skating Team, Milosh also brings a wealth of personal experience to her coaching. As a four year member of the Colonials Junior team, she competed as a member of Team USA around the world and won three national bronze medals and a gold medal at the 2002 Neuchatel Trophy in Switzerland. After attending Elon University and earning a B.A. in Elementary Education, Cass skated for the Esprit de Corps Adult team representing the Hayden Recreation Center Figure Skating Club and earned two consecutive National Championships.

Cass will join a strong line of coaches including Lynn Eisenhour, Brenda Hinkle, Kitty McGorry, Melissa Marshall, Sydney Graham, and Kerstin Magnuson, who together coach 10 youth teams with more than 120 skaters. “She is going to be a great addition to our skating family”, Team Ashburn Skating Director and Head Coach, Jenny Cherry, noted.
